- Prepare 1 pack Asparagus (18 spears)
- Take 1 pack Parma ham (6 slices)
- Prepare Oil to coat the tray
Instructions to make Asparagus & Parma Ham:
- Set the oven to 180 degrees. Fill two medium sized pans with water heat one up to a simmer and leave the other one as cold water. Cut the ends off the asparagus.
- These are very fine asparagus so they don’t need much blanching. Once the pan has come to the simmer throw in the Asparagus for 2 minutes, then lift out and plunge into the cold water, so they don’t over cook.
- Leave for a minute to cool.
- Use a baking tin or shallow casserole dish, lightly coat with a layer of light olive oil.
- Careful take out the Parma ham. Take three spears of Asparagus and wrap along.
- Keeping it fairly tight together.
- Place in the tray and lightly coat with oil. Repeat 5 times.
- Place in the oven for 10 minutes or until the ham has gone nice and crispy.
