To begin with this particular recipe, we have to first prepare a few ingredients. You can have taco shell using 5 ingredients and 10 steps. Here is how you cook that.

The ingredients needed to make Taco shell:
  1. Take 1 cup maize flour
  2. Make ready 1/2 cup maida/All-purpose flour
  3. Get 1/4 cup oil
  4. Get as needed Water
  5. Take to taste Salt

Older tortillas tend to crisp up more readily. If using newer tortillas, let them dry out on the counter for a bit before putting them in the oven. Taco night wouldn't be the same without crispy, crunchy taco shells. But the store-bought versions have more calories, fat and sodium than I'd like.

Instructions to make Taco shell:
  1. Mix flour,maida and salt nicely.
  2. Then mix oil and mix nicely again.
  3. Preheat oven at 180°C for 10-15min.
  4. Now make a smooth dough and add warm water as needed.
  5. Then divide the dough into 15small balls.
  6. Then roll the ball approx 5inch diameter and keep aside by sprinkling little maida so that they will not stick with each other.
  7. Now hang the rolled tacos on the grill like I did(pic for ref).
  8. Bake it for 15min but keep an eye as all oven are diff. Once they are brown take them out.
  9. Remember they will b more crisp when they are cool.
  10. Make the filling acc to your taste and enjoy tha tacos 😊

So when I need to get my crunchy tortilla fix. Who doesn't like mini taco shells? They make great additions to any event you have in mind. Plus, they are the perfect crunchy addition to any lunch box. Taco night has to be one of my daughter's favorites!
