Substituted a can of diced tomatoes for the chopped tomatoes and skipped the panko crumbs since using the rice. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat to low; cover and simmer until the water is.   4. Once meat and rice are done add to a mixing bowl. Add cheese, and spaghetti sauce. Mix thoroughly. May need more salt and pepper.
  5. Once everything is mixed place peppers in the pan and fill the peppers all the way up with the meat mixture.
  6. Place the tops back on the peppers and put in the oven. Bake for roughly 40-45 minutes or until peppers are tender.
  7. Once done, let cool then top with the diced Avocado(optional). Delicious.

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, heat oil. Add onion and garlic and cook until turkey is golden and cooked. Prepare your rice and set aside. You will need two cups of cooked rice. Cut off the tops of the peppers remove the seeds, trim the bottoms to help them sit flat in the skillet and rinse thoroughly.
