- Put the flour in a jug, add a little milk, stir to combine with no lumps, keep adding the remainder of the milk.
- Add the milky sauce to the pot a little at a time, stirring until is mixed nicely. Continue heating until sauce thickens and bubbles. Turn down heat.
- Just before serving, add the cream, salt and pepper to taste. Serve with the rice, and enjoy!
