  1. To start with rinse the bitter gourd and potato slices well.
  2. Take them in a mixing bowl. Add rice flour, gram flour, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt.
  3. Mix everything well. If required, sprinkle just a few drops of water so that all slices are coated well with masala mixture.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan/ kadai for deep frying. Once hot, add masala quoted bitter gourd & potato slices to the oil, slice by slice, in batches.
  5. Fry on medium low flame on both sides till they turn golden and crisp. Remove them from oil and place on absorbent paper to drain excess oil.
  6. Serve them garnished with fried red chillies as a tea time snack or as a side dish with lunch.
